Access to the systems of the University of Veterinary Medicine is granted using a username and the associated password. With these credentials, you can log in to institutional computers, access your email and personal OneDrive account, as well as shared drives and various IT systems and services.

Your password must meet the following requirements:
- It must not contain the username or any part of it.
- It must be at least 7 characters long.
- It must contain at least three of the following four character types:
- lowercase letters (a–z)
- uppercase letters (A–Z)
- numbers (0–9)
- special characters (e.g., !, $, #, %)
After successfully changing your password, the new password will be valid for 180 days, and it can only be changed again after 24 hours.
Following the password change, it is important to update your stored password in all university systems you use (E-learning, Eduroam Wi-Fi, VPN, Outlook M365, etc.), especially on mobile devices. Using your old or expired password may result in temporary suspension of access to university systems.
