Dear Students!
We inform you that Microsoft is rolling out of the basic authentication method in the Exchange Online service. (The related protocols are the follows: POP, IMAP, Exchange Web Services (EWS), Exchange ActiveSync (EAS), MAPI, RPC.)
The disconnection of these services is expected to take place on October 17, 2022, and the basic authentication methods will be permanently discontinued in January 2023.
The restrictions described above only affect the following email clients that may still be in use:
Thunderbird, Outlook2016, or older versions of Outlook.
For those who still use the aforementioned Thunderbird, Outlook2016, or older Outlook programs, we recommend using the O365 service’s web interface (https://outlook.com/univet.hu) or the Outlook client program (O365) on desktop computers and/or on mobile devices.
